Deputies: Suspect robbed same store twice in two weeks

Posted: Updated:

Deputies are looking for a man who apparently robbed a convenience store two weeks in a row.

The owner said it happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday at the City Food Market on 66th Street North in St. Petersburg.

A man wearing a white hoodie walked in and told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money.

He never showed a weapon but still left the clerk shaken up. The clerk said that same man robbed him a week ago.

The gunman left in a white, four door car, detectives said.

There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. If you know anything, call 1-800-873-TIPS.
