Families displaced in Pasco fire

Posted: Updated:
HOLIDAY (FOX 13) -

On one of the coldest nights of the year, three families – including a mother and her three young children – were forced out of their apartments in the middle of the night.

A fire broke out on Golden Nugget Drive in Holiday around 11. There are three apartments at this location, and Pasco firefighters say the fire started in the middle of the apartment.

There were no injuries, but the roof was completely destroyed and everything inside the apartments was pretty much a loss.

The Red Cross is helping put the displaced residents up for the night. Pasco fire and rescue is out and will investigate what started the fire.
