Someone in Delaware County is having a good end to the week, judging by the news just shared by the Pennsylvania Lottery.
One jackpot-winning Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $1.8 million was drawn Thursday, and it belongs to a patron of Peppy's Automotive Inc. in Drexel Hill.
The ticket sold at the auto shop located at 775 Burmont Road correctly matched all six winning numbers, 06-16-34-39-40-42, to win the jackpot, less a 25-percent federal withholding.
The retailer also has a reason to smile, as it gets a $10,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
No one had matched all six winning numbers and won the jackpot since a Jan. 28 drawing, the lottery says.
Officials cannot confirm the identity of the jackpot winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Match 6 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
If you're that lucky person, you'll want to sign the back of the ticket, call the lottery and file a claim at any of its seven area offices.
The lottery notes that more than 81,700 other Match 6 players from Pennsylvania also won prizes in Thursday's drawing.

Not the prettiest Friday, but we're ready for a great weekend. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. After an early high in the upper sixties, temperatures fall & winds pick up out of the chillier northwest. Right now the Memorial Day Weekend looks sunny and cool with highs in the low to mid 60s on Saturday, in the 70s Sunday & Monday. Cooler temps at the shore.
