Service this weekend to honor Dunedin soldier

Family and friends with gather this weekend to remember a local soldier killed in Afghanistan.

Zack Shannon, 21, was killed while on a Black Hawk chopper that went down outside Kandahar earlier this month.

Shannon graduated from Dunedin High School, and he comes from a military family.

A celebration of life ceremony is being held Sunday at noon at the VFW Post on Douglas Avenue in Dunedin.
