Sarasota sheriff’s office investigating death

A death investigation is underway in Sarasota after deputies found the body of a man at the intersection of Fry Street and Carter Avenue.

Detectives are calling the death of Steven B. Palasz a homicide. He was found in the Pinecraft area of Sarasota around 3:30 a.m.
