Family: Teacher Didn't Do Enough To Stop Fight Caught On Video

CAMDEN, N.J. -
In a story you'll see only on FOX, two Camden High School girls get into a fight, and it's all caught on video.
At one point, early on, the video even shows a teacher restraining one of the 15-year-old girls for a while but then he backs off.
FOX 29's Stephanie Salvatore reported live from Camden on Monday night that the video posted back in January to YouTube ended in a suspension of several students.
But the mother of one of those girls involved in the fight says it's the teacher's fault for not preventing it from happening.
It's becoming a familiar sight on YouTube, young girls in an all-out brawl while their classmates cheer and capture the whole thing on cell phone video.
The Camden video starts off with a teacher attempting to hold one of the girls back from fighting the other. If you listen closely, he seems to give up trying to stop it. The teacher leaves the room saying he's going to get security.
After he leaves the fight escalates. The two girls continue to throw punches at each other, falling on top of desks and to the floor. All the while, their classmates are screaming for them to keep going.
"I think he should have been reprimanded," said the mother of one girl, Tammy Bailey. "Something that he did wrong, he let another child go to attack my child."
Bailey's 15-year-old daughter, Ajianna, was one of the girls involved in the fight and was suspended for 10 days. When an investigation by the Department of Children and Families found no negligence on the part of the teacher, Bailey was shocked. She says it was the teacher's job to try to prevent the fight from starting.
"For him to have a video on for two minutes without him even calling security was wrong. He should have did that immediately. He could have had another student call security or go get security."
We did reach out to the Camden High School administrators. They put all of our questions to the district superintendent, but we have yet to hear back on any of our e-mails and calls to them, Salvatore reported.
