Man dead after being pinned under car

Police are calling a fatal pedestrian accident Monday morning a homicide.

It happened in the 800 block of 38^th Avenue North around 6:55 a.m.

A man was struck and trapped under a vehicle. He was taken to Bayfront Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

That stretch of road was closed at 9^th Street North.
