DUNEDIN (FOX 13) -

A fire at a candle shop snarled traffic in Dunedin Sunday afternoon not far from the city's St. Patrick's Day Festival.

Crews with the Dunedin Fire Department responded to a two-alarm blaze at 1430 Main St. just after 12:30 p.m. Smoke and flames were visible when crews arrived on the scene.

It took several minutes to extinguish the fire which did some serious damage to the structure. Most of the damage was contained in some storage units.

Fortunately nobody was injured and the building appeared to be empty. The cause is not yet known as the investigation continues.
