Driver killed in fiery crash

Troopers say a fiery fatal crash in Plant City was caused when a driver ran a red light.

The person was in a 2001 Honda Civic and collided with a semi-truck. The driver of the Honda was killed in the crash.

Immediately after the vehicles collided, fire engulfed the Honda. A portion of the truck suffered fire damage as well.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. on State Road 39 at Knights Griffin Road.
