Bubba the Love Sponge Clem may have won the defamation lawsuit, but FOX 13 has learned that mediation talks have wrapped up. This time, things went in favor of Todd "MJ" Schnitt.
"I agreed to some nonsense to make this go away," Bubba said Friday morning on his morning show.
In the end, Bubba agreed to not make any jokes on the air about MJ's wife, Michelle, or Schnitt's children.
But MJ himself is still reportedly fair game. The other big issue that was resolved: Money.
Even though MJ lost his civil case, he will not have to pay any of Bubba's legal fees.
"I'm still on the hook for $800,000 for legal fees," Bubba said.
Traditionally, people who win a civil case go after the other side to pay the lawyers.
Bubba says he will talk about his settlement on his radio show Friday morning.
