A boil water notice has been issued for some Pinellas County Utilities customers.
The affected area is south of Sunset Point Road, east of U.S. 19, north of State Road 590 and west of McMullen Booth Road, according to the county.
The precautionary boil was issued after crews repaired a water main leak in the area. The county says the notice will be in effect for at least 48 hours, and they'll notify the public when the water is safe to drink again.
If you receive water from the city of Clearwater, you are not included in the water boil notice.
