New watering restrictions begin Wednesday for a lot of folks in the Tampa Bay area.
People in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties can only water the lawn and wash the car once a week.
Here is the schedule the city issued:
* Addresses ending in 0 or 1 may irrigate on Mondays
* Addresses ending in 2 or 3 may irrigate on Tuesdays
* Addresses ending in 4 or 5 may irrigate on Wednesdays
* Addresses ending in 6 or 7 may irrigate on Thursdays
* Addresses ending in 8 or 9 may irrigate on Fridays
You can hand water any day, but have to have it done before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m.
The Southwest Florida Water Management District says rainfall is way below normal. They say the restrictions are necessary to conserve.
If you live in these counties, read up on the changes at http://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/conservation/restrictions/TBphase3.php
