ATLANTA -
Atlanta Bishop Luis Zarama says Catholics here and around the world are captivated by pope selection process because of the ancient tradition -- and because the Holy Spirit is guiding the election.
Zamara told FOX 5's Russ Spencer on Tuesday that he expects this conclave might be a long one, since the cardinals -- most of whom were appointed by Pope Benedict XVI-- don't know each other well.
He points out that their choice is so important because the pope acts in the name of Jesus, the Vicar of Christ on Earth.
