Delta Regional Jet runs off runway at Houston Hobby Airport

HOUSTON -

No injuries after a Delta Regional Jet ran off the runway at Houston's Hobby Airport Monday morning.

Delta Flight 4302 was scheduled to depart Hobby at 6 a.m. bound for Atlanta.   But while taxing the pilot reported communication problems and notified the tower he was going to return to the gate.

That's when it appears the plane cut a turn short and ended up in the grass.

The passengers were eventually disembarked the plane onto shuttle buses to return to the terminal at Hobby.

The plane remained on the runway for several hours while investigators from the NTSB arrived to conduct their own investigation.
