Authorities in Charlotte County are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Port Charlotte man.
Peter Berdayes, 59, was last seen between 8 and 1 p.m. on Friday at The Haven, 603 Woodberry Dr. He simply walked off the property and has not returned to his residence.
According to a Charlotte County Sheriff's Office report Berdayes likes to frequent coffee shops in the area. He is a white male, stands 5'9'' tall and weighs 190 pounds with a medium build.
Berdayes has either dark brown or black hair – usually slicked back – a moustache and may be wearing black framed glasses. He does have some issues with his health and does not have his medication with him.
He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt, a black jacket and black pants. Berdayes may be heading towards the Miami area because that is where he formerly lived.
