Toldeo III, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene just before 1 a.m. Friday morning.A 29-year-old Pasco County man died Friday from injuries sustained in an early morning, one-vehicle crash on Bolton Ave. in Hudson.
The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of Bermondsey St. Oscar Toledo III was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report Toledo was traveling east in his 1996 Ford Explorer when for unknown reasons he veered into the westbound lanes. He apparently lost control of the vehicle and began to rotate in counter-clockwise direction.
It traveled onto the property of a residence at 9427 Bolton Ave. and Toledo attempted to steer the Explorer back onto the roadway. The vehicle flipped over onto its room and came to rest east of Bermondsey St.
Toledo was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and it's not yet known if alcohol played a factor.
Bolton Ave. was closed for several hours while investigators collected data. The official cause of the crash is not yet known as the investigation continues.
