If you're a parent, grandparent, or even if you just know someone with kids and love to shop, the Florida State Fairgrounds will be the place to be over the next few days.
The 'Just Between Friends' children's consignment event starts Friday morning and runs through the weekend.
It's an event that is held all over the country. It allows local parents to sell their gently used baby items and make some money. But it also allows parents to come and buy the items at deeply discounted prices.
This event is all about the kids. There will be furniture, clothes, toys, bedding -- you name it and it's all on sale. Organizers say all items are marked down between 50 to 90 percent off from retail prices.
The sale starts Friday and runs through Sunday. It's at the Florida State Fairgrounds Special Event Center. Doors open at 9 a.m. and there is a $2 admission, but only for Friday. It's free to get in the rest of the weekend.
On Sunday, all items are an additional 50 percent off.
Schedule:
- Friday, March 8: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Saturday, March 9: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Sunday, March 10: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
