FORESCUE, N.J. -

The recovery from Superstorm Sandy along the Jersey Shore may have taken a step backwards after high winds, rain and some flooding from Wednesday night's storm.

Coastal Flood warnings were still in effect Thursday for several Jersey Shore communities and parts of Delaware. The National Weather Service says the warnings will remain in effect until 9 a.m. Friday.

In Fortescue, many homes damaged by Sandy are still not fully repaired.

While Wednesday's storm brought down trees, Mayor Robert Campbell tells FOX 29 the town will now focus on cleaning up from the latest storm and moving forward.

In North Wildwood, owners of the well known O'Boyles Irish Pub tell FOX 29 they were dealt a blow from the latest storm. Owners say the bar was flooded during Sandy and since they have struggled to fully recover.

In other areas, residents lost power and saw trees and power lines knocked down as a result of the storm.
