If you're like many people these days, your cell phone rings constantly. So when is it okay to answer--- and when isn't it?
A Boston woman learned the hard way not that the gym is not the best place to take a call. The Boston Herald reports the woman took an unexpected call from her doctor while she was working out on an elliptical machine at a Planet Fitness in Dedham, Mass. last week. But when she answered the phone, the gym's general manager approached her to tell her to get off the phone.
The gym went on to pull the woman's membership based on the situation. The Planet Fitness chain is known for having "no cell phones" signs posted around their gyms.
