NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) -

St. Patrick's Day is still two weeks away but some people in Hoboken decided to get an early start on Saturday.

The streets were filled with partygoers for the second annual Hoboken Leprecon pub crawl. The event started early with revelers beginning the pub crawl at 8:00 a.m.

The event creator said this year's celebration is important because it's helping support local businesses that were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
