LAKELAND (FOX 13) -
Charges are being filed against seven teenagers involved in a big brawl at George Jenkins High School in Polk County.
They will be charged with affray, which is similar to causing a riot, the Polk Sheriff's Office said.
Video of the melee surfaced online, and the school says it's conducting its own investigation.
It all started with a food fight. A few kids were apparently throwing carrots at each other, and then things got out of hand. At one point, it even appears that a student is picked up in the air and body slammed onto the concrete.
