LAKELAND (FOX 13) -
Two people killed when their SUV collided with a train in
Polk County have been identified.
The driver was 24-year-old Anthony Young. His passenger was
25-year-old Eren Askew. The pair was in an SUV when it hit a CSX train Sunday
off Ewell Road in Lakeland.
Investigators say their vehicle was thrown onto a power box
and burst into flames. They also say the safety arm was down and the train's
whistle was blowing before the crash happened.
Troopers are looking for witnesses of the crash. You can
