The drinking water in Pinellas County will soon give you something to smile about.
On Friday, fluoride will once again be added to the water system. Despite its benefits fighting tooth decay, it was removed last year following a controversial vote by county commissioners.
Two of the commissioners who voted to get rid of fluoride were voted out of office. Their replacements voted to resume adding fluoride as soon as possible.
The CDC says fluoridation is one of the top 10 greatest public health achievements of the 20th Century.
