Police Investigate Somers Point Shooting

ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. -

A 21-year-old man was rushed to the hospital Saturday after police say he was shot in the head in Somers Point.

The shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. at the Somers Point Village Apartments on Somers Point Mays Landing Road.

The victim, whose name has not been released, remains hospitalized for what police described as a life-threatening injury.

Police in Somers Point and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Major Crimes Unit are both now investigating the shooting.
