A convicted felon already on drug offender probation is in trouble with the law again.
Andy Roger Balmir was one of two people arrested Friday when detectives with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office raided a Deep Creek home on Friday.
Balmir, 28, is being held without bond at the Charlotte County Jail. Savannah Rose Larue, 28, was also arrested on a variety of drug-related charges. She is being held on a bond of $5,000.
According to a CCSO report deputies obtained a search warrant for 1112 Nomad Rd. after several undercover drug purchases were made at that address in November.
During the early morning raid investigators confiscated two digital scales, $2,360 in cash, a bathroom trash can containing cocaine residue and some marijuana.
Deputies also seized Balmir's 2002 Ford Explorer that was parked in the garage of the residence.
Balmir has an extensive arrest record in Charlotte County. At the time of this arrest he was already on probation for a 2009 cocaine conviction.
He also served five years in state prison for a weapons conviction in 2003.
