Julie Schenecker, the Tampa Palms woman charged with killing her two children, appeared in court Thursday morning.
Prosecuting attorneys say Schenecker will be evaluated by three different mental health experts to determine her sanity at the time she allegedly killed 13-year-old Beau and 16-year-old Calyx in their home two years ago.
The assistant state attorney said Thursday that the evaluations could take months, and once complete, the state will depose the documents. The state also wants video of the woman talking to her attorney in a hospital room after her arrest.
A judge in Hillsborough County has set her trial date for Oct. 7. A pre-trial date has been set for Sept. 12.
Schenecker was calm and quiet in court Thursday. Here parents were also there, but they declined comment.
FOX 13's Gloria Gomez will have more on this story tonight at 5.
