Woman’s body found on Pinellas beach

Detectives are conducting a death investigation at a beach near the Pinellas side of Gandy Boulevard.

A body of a female was found just east of the Banana Boat around 7:10 a.m.

Authorities identified her as 51-year-old Pamela Sue Simon.

Foul play is not suspected, and her cause of death is pending an autopsy and toxicology reports.
