Doctors at Children's Hospital of Atlanta at Scottish Rite tell the family that's expected as he fights a bacterial infection, Stacy Halstead wrote.
The 2-year-old Winder boy suffered severe brain injuries when a tree limb fell on him outside his Winder day care center back in October.
Another fundraiser for the boy is set at the Chick-Fil-A in Villa Rica on Monday. Patrons to the restaurant that mention Tripp will have 15 percent of their orders donated to the family.
