TAMPA (FOX 13) -
A missing dog that works with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has been found safe.
A man in north Tampa found the dog and called the sheriff's office Wednesday afternoon.
The dog had gone missing last Saturday, and the sheriff's office offered a $1,000 reward for its safe return.
"Doc" is a 60-pound, mixed breed dog that works with the office's agricultural unit. He is specially trained to work with cattle, and the sheriff's office said it is the unit's mascot.
The sheriff's office plans a press conference to put out more details.
