1 killed in head-on collision

One person was seriously injured and another killed Wednesday morning in a head-on collision.

It happened on Highway 301 North and Sligh Avenue. Investigators say one driver was going the wrong way and collided with another.

The driver in the wrong-way vehicle was killed. The other driver was taken to a trauma center in fair condition.

Their names have not been released.
