Tampa Police investigators say the shooting occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday night.TAMPA (FOX 13) -
An 18-year-old man was killed and another seriously injured in a shooting Friday night on East 21st St. in Tampa.
John Edward Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. Reginald Johnson, 18, was transported to Tampa General Hospital.
According to a Tampa Police Department report officers were dispatched to scene at approximately 9:30 p.m. in response to a disturbance call.
The caller told dispatchers that a fight was going on and gunfire was heard.
When they arrived Brown was deceased and Johnson was conscious and alert. Detectives are trying to piece together the course of events that led to the violence.
