PHILADELPHIA -

A $15,000 reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the person or group of people responsible for setting a series of fires on the Temple University campus earlier this week.

According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Philadelphia Field Division of the ATF and a reward of up to $10,000 is now being offered by the L.F. Driscoll Company.

"Acts of arson are dangerous crimes and threaten the community," ATF Philadelphia Field Division Acting Special Agent in Charge Donald Robinson said in a statement.

"We are asking the public to provide any information that would lead investigators to those responsible for these arsons."

Investigators say the arson fires were set on February 11 and 12 at the tower building under construction on Temple's campus. The fires were set on five different floors of the building over a two-day period.

ATF investigators say the fires resulted in $100,000 in property damages.
