Pedestrian fatally struck by car in Clearwater

Police have identified the person who was hit and killed by a car in Clearwater.

It happened on Missouri Avenue just south of the intersection at Turner Street.

Investigators say Herman Samuel Adkisson was hit while trying to cross the street and did not see the car.

The driver will not face any charges.
