Philadelphia police arrest the man they say put a gun inside his 7-year-old stepson's backpack. 22-year-old Tarron Wescott was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and theft.
The ordeal began Thursday at Universal Daroff Charter School, when the boy found a loaded handgun in his backpack. He told an afterschool teacher, who immediately took the bag and followed emergency procedures.
Police took the gun in as part of their investigation. The gun was loaded, but jammed. No one at the school was hurt.

At approximately 2:45pm Wednesday afternoon, a bank robbery occurred at the National Penn Bank on E. High Street in Pottstown, PA. Police have captured three of the fours suspects so far.
