PHILADELPHIA -

Call if Facebook with benefits. Casual sex with the click of a mouse. This ain't no Farmville.

"It was only a matter of time before someone came up with something like this"

One of the fastest growing and most controversial applications on Facebook. "(Blank) with Friends" It's exactly what it sounds like. If you want to secretly hook up with one of your Facebook friends, there's an app for that.

Once the app is installed it lists all of your Facebook friends on a menu. If you want to hook up just click on the "Down to (Blank)" button.

No one will ever know you clicked on them unless that person has the same app and clicks on your photo. Then it's time to get down.

Just who would use an app like this? Alex a 21-year-old from Center City who is a recent college graduate, single and looking for a hook up.

"For someone you are interested in you just click them" Alex says.

Alex tells us he and several of his friends have been using the app for about a month.

"There's a lot of potential. Definitely just in terms of the market. People are looking to have casual sex. They're out there" he says.

The app was developed by three anonymous college students who claim five new users a minute.

How did it work for Alex?

"It's generated some leads. It's generated some leads. So we'll work from there" he says.

Experts wonder if the app may be a pathway to infidelity or sending kids the wrong message.

"More than likely it's going to encourage some sort of deception or cheating" says relationship therapist Dr. Argie Allen.

"If people have poor boundaries outside of social media more than likely they'll have poor boundaries inside of cyberspace and social media" Allen says.

We contacted Facebook to see what they thought of the application. In a statement a spokesperson says "We take action against apps that violate our platform policies. We have nothing further to share about this particular issue.
