ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) -
One person suffered a gunshot wound after what deputies are calling an "accidental discharge of a firearm" at a shooting range.
According to deputies, a U.S. Marshal's Service employee was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after shooting himself or herself in the leg at the sheriff's office range on 34th Street N.
"We are not releasing the name of the individual involved due to their
current work assignment with the U.S. Marshals," a sheriff's office press release stated.
