The incident started in the area of the 2200 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue just before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a blue Buick Park Avenue driven by a 25-year-old man hit a white Nissan Maxima driven by a 29-year-old man. According to police, the blue Buick attempted to flee the scene.
While being followed by the white Nissan, the blue Buick continued to drive until police say the car crashed into three parked cars, including a gold Honda, at a Produce Junction store not far from the initial accident.
