Atlanta police say a 17-year-old boy was shot as he walked down the street with a friend Monday evening, and the teen later died of his injuries. His killer remains at large.
Officers say the shooting happened in the area of Cameron M. Alexander Boulevard and James P Brawley Drive. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, but he later died of his injuries. He has not been positively identified by authorities.
Police say the shooter is still on the loose, and they don't have any information about a possible motive. Anyone with information in the shooting is asked to call Crimestoppers.
