SAN ANTONIO (FOX 13) -
The chairman of the Pasco County commission was arrested
this weekend on domestic violence charges, the sheriff's office says.
Theodore "Ted" Schrader was arrested Sunday night at his home in San Antonio just after 9
p.m. The charge, however, comes from an incident Saturday.
Deputies said Schrader and his wife of 30 years got into
some sort of argument Friday night. On Saturday morning, Julia Schrader said he
grabbed her wrist and leg and dragged her across the bed demanding to speak to
her, deputies said.
Ted Schrader admitted to the confrontation, according
to the sheriff's office. The incident left Julia Schrader with bruises on her
arm and leg.
Schrader was booked in the Pasco County jail.
