BROOKSVILLE (FOX 13) -

A convicted felon being sought on a slew of burglary related charges was located and arrested Friday.

Daniel Ray Freeman is being held without bond at the Hernando County Jail. On Wednesday authorities released a picture of the 27-year-old Brooksville man saying he was wanted for questioning several recent crimes.

Several tips came in and the suspect was located and questioned.

According to a Hernando County Sheriff's Office report there were already three outstanding warrants for Freeman on retail theft and violation of probation charges.

Detectives questioned him on Thursday and Post-Miranda he admitted to several residential burglaries. On his person and in his vehicle investigators found evidence linking him to the crimes.

Freeman, who was already on drug offender probation for a previous conviction out of Hernando County, was charged with one count of armed burglary and four counts of burglary of a dwelling.

Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues. If you have any information about Freeman's recent activities please contact the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
