ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) -
A SWAT standoff in St. Petersburg has ended, but not before a last-ditch jump out of a second story window.
For more than five hours, the SWAT team surrounded a home on 28th Street North.
Deputies say Martiego J. Wallace was on the run when he barged into a random home down the street.
The family who lived there got out and called for help.
After five hours of trying to coax him out, deputies say Wallace jumped out a second story window and tried to escape.
But it didn't work, and he was arrested.
