Ten thousand dollars is a lot of money for a kid. But that's how much money Ryan and Rachel Mish are hoping to win for their school.
They made a video and entered it into the 'Scotties Trees Rock' video contest.
In the video, they talk about how important trees are -- for oxygen, for shade, for shelter for animals.
Ryan edited the video with help from his dad and now he's one of the top 12 finalists.
So what would they do if their school, Veterans Elementary, won the $10,000?
"We want to have a shaded area with picnic tables and stuff so we can have science experiments and eat lunch with our parents," Ryan explained.
