Lansdale Police say they have arrested two sisters for allegedly selling the powerful opiate painkiller, Oxycodone in and around the Lansdale area.

Darrina Slocum, 34, was arrested on January 19th and her sister, Ebony Slocum, 32, was arrested after she turned herself into police on January 29th.

Police began their investigation into the sisters back in 2010 when they received a tip that Ebony was selling Percoset.  She alluded police when she moved a few times to unknown locations.

In November of 2012, the Lansdale Street Crimes Unit once again received reports that both Ebony and Darrina were now selling Oxycodone.

Darrina was arraigned on January 19th.  Bail was set and she was released pending a March 14th preliminary hearing.

Ebony was arraigned on January 29 and failed to post bail.  She is in a correctional facility and has a preliminary hearing date of February 26.
