New video released by investigators shows the woman kidnapper headed to Bryant Elementary School in the moments before she snatched the 5-year-old from her classroom and headed right for the exit.
"Get that person that did it because that child's suffering from that now," one parent told FOX 29.
Minutes later, the same camera at 61st and Larchwood, captured the kidnapper with the kindergartner as they headed into the neighborhood.
The abductor is seen carrying a distinctive umbrella with a carved wood handle. The girl was taken to a unknown home in the neighborhood, blindfolded and kept under a bed before she escaped the next morning. She was found under a slide in an Upper Darby Park. Two suspects and a person of interest named "China" or "Chyna" are being sought.
"The people responsible for this horrendous act need to be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent," said Douglas Wooten, who has two children at Bryant Elementary.
Parents are still reeling from the fact that no suspects have been arrested in the two week old abduction even with surveillance video of the woman kidnapper walking out with the kindergartner.
An $80,000 reward hasn't generated any strong leads yet.
"I don't understand how a case that gets so much coverage doesn't get these perpetrators in a much faster pace," Wooten added.
Also Tuesday, Michael Rosenberg showed up for his first day as the new principal at Bryant Elementary with a big task at hand, restoring parents' belief that their children are safe in school.
He spoke exclusively with Good Day's Steve Keeley.
"We're gonna build some team here, we're gonna put some protocols in place and we can do this, we can absolutely do it," Rosenberg said.
Police are swamped with tips about the teenage girl named "China", who the victim says was in the same house where she was held captive. Investigators are still trying to track her down and possibly locate the house where the 5-year-old girl was held by the kidnappers.
New security measures at the school and others around the city are still just ideas on the table. Where the money will come from is another question.
The Citizen Crime Commission says they're getting lots of tips from the reward offer, but not any that will crack this case.
