A fight between two men at a Hudson homeless camp left one of the combatants dead while authorities are pursuing the other.
The incident occurred just after midnight Saturday morning at a location near the intersection of State Road 52 and US Highway 19.
According to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report deputies were dispatched to the scene where the found the body of 53-year-old Darrell Bland.
Witnesses say Bland got into a physical altercation with Robert Allen Shelly. He fled the scene before deputies arrived.
The official cause of death has not been released and detectives have not yet revealed a possible motive.
