Police say a man led officers on a near-30 mile chase across two counties Wednesday morning.
Police stopped the vehicle in the USF campus area because the pickup truck he was in, which had a Mississippi tag, came back as stolen.
Police say an officer pulled the vehicle over. There were three people inside: Lebaron Woods, 21, Landrick Edwards, 23, and Gregory Deonte Brinson, 23.
Woods and Edwards tried to flee the vehicle on foot, but officers were able to take them into custody.
Meanwhile, police say Brinson bolted from the scene, leading officers on a high-speed chase down I-275, over the Bay and into St. Petersburg.
Brinson got off the interstate at 15th Avenue South. He apparently ditched the truck and ran into a home at 1227 Fargo Avenue South where he was finally arrested.
No one was injured in the pursuit, officers said.
The men face a number of charges and have been booked into jail.
