Although temperatures were in the teens and 20s for much of the Delaware Valley Tuesday, FOX 29 Chief Meteorologist Scott Williams says it actually felt much colder.
Bitter cold air has moved into our area, with temperatures as low as 19 degrees in the Philadelphia area Tuesday morning. But those are just the air temperatures, when you factor in the wind, the temperatures felt much colder.
In Philadelphia, temperatures felt more like 4 degrees. In areas around Lancaster, Pennsylvania, it felt more like 2 below.
The cold air is here to stay for Wednesday morning, with temperatures in the single digits. Scott Williams recommends you dress for what the temperatures feel like rather than the actual air temperatures themselves.
As for the rest of the week, FOX 29 Weather Authority is tracking snow in the forecast for Friday.
As it stands now, Scott Williams says the likely track could bring between 1-3 inches of snow to our area. The snow is expected to develop during the day and continue into the evening.
On Monday night, the brief snowfall that hit the area caused accidents and forced PennDOT crews to shut down several roads as drivers tried to navigate through icy conditions.

It feels like summer out there. We're expecting milder temperatures than yesterday: highs in the mid 80s. Just like summer, it'll be humid, with a chance of a few spotty showers during the day.
This pattern stays in place until Thursday, when strong thunderstorms usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
