Police say they've found car that hit UT student

Police say they have found the car that hit a University of Tampa student early Sunday morning.

They say they are still investigating who was driving it.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. when 21-year-old Vincent Lanci was crossing Howard Avenue near North A Street, just north of Kennedy.

Witnesses say the driver hit Lanci and never stopped. They said the car appeared to be a 2005 - 2008 grey/silver Acura RL that has its right side mirror missing.

Lanci is in critical but stable condition at Tampa General Hospital., according to the Tampa Police Department.
