Some of the more than 300 animals seized from a home in Oldsmar are ready for adoption today.
The SPCA in Largo says bearded dragons, hedgehogs, spiny mice, and hamsters are available and in good health.
The animals were seized from the home of Jennifer Kovacs and Jeffrey O'Neil earlier this month. Officers said many of the animals were crammed in cages and living in poor conditions.
The SPCA says adopting some of the more exotic animals like the hedgehogs and bearded dragons will take a special application, and they have reached the maximum number of applicants for the hedgehogs.
