Detectives say they are receiving tips about Jamaal Jenkins, but nothing yet that has led to an arrest.
There's now a $50,000 reward if he's brought in, and his picture now is posted on billboards all around town.
Priority No. 1 for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and St. Petersburg Police: Put him behind bars. He is now wanted on two counts of first-degree murder, accused of killing his girlfriend earlier this month.
They say he shot her execution style at a local motel. Then he's accused of shooting her new boyfriend this week in St. Pete.
Jenkins has allegedly said he refuses to return to prison – where he's been twice.
Deputies also say Jenkins is making threatening phone calls to other people, telling them "they are next."
"We have him on video in the last couple of days at a variety of different locations in the county," said Sheriff Bob Gualtieri. "We're one step behind him. We need additional information, and we need to get him off the street today."
Police and deputies are working on this together, stressing they think Jenkins is armed and very dangerous. They say he won't hesitate to hurt someone else.
